It was 19 months in the making. I finally ate the best donut of my life, after being away from home for a year and a half.
I have truly missed eating these, even though they are pretty much the worst thing I can eat in life! I even ate a bag of them (6 donuts) before I left for London, which was so worth it!
The Dandee Donut is an institution in south east Melbourne, sold at the Dandenong Market. They are something I have grown up with. They are Jam filled, and sugar coated, and sold piping hot…they are delicious!
Eating one dandy donut wasn’t going to make it the best moment of the day though.
Eating three of them surely was!
