Diamond Head Crater View
Diamond Head Crater is a must stop when visiting Honolulu.
It offers amazing views of the city and coast on two sides; with an elevation of 761 feet at the summit.
Walking up and down this hike takes about 2 hours, there are pathways, stairs and uneven surfaces, but it is easy to do, just a little sweaty.
If you are walking in, it costs $1 (bargain!) or $5 per car.
The humidity was high today, but arriving at 9am made for a great walk, as it wasn’t too hot for dad and I to do. The sky was cloudy, but that didn’t take long to part. The breeze at the top was quite lovely.
I fully recommend this walk if you are in town.
Just beautiful!

This looks gorgeous! I hope to get there one day!
It was spectacular! If you manage to get there go around 9am or earlier, it gets far too hot anytime after that to actually start the walk. We were lucky we had cloud cover for the walk up, but the humidity can kill you ?
